Dalaman
The town is several miles inland and is predominantly
Turkish but with basic English spoken in most of the cafes
and restaurants. Consequently, prices of houses for sale
are lower than in many of the resort towns and villages.
Dalaman is changing. Plans are being developed to build
a new marina and a golf course. When these take off the
whole area is likely to develop rapidly.
Around the town, there is already a lot of building activity,
from apartments for sale to luxury villas for sale, often
within walking distance of the town and with mountain views.
As an established small town, Dalaman has a wide range of
shops as well as a Hamam or Turkish bath.
Koycegiz, apartments for sale
Koycegiz is a picturesque lakeside town, the other side
of Dalyan Lake which is 4o minutes away from the resort
town of Marmaris.
Koycegiz boasts many nice restaurants, bars and shops along
the lakeside and many bargain properties for sale with regular
boat trips to Dalyan.
Other towns and villages in the area which will benefit
from all the new development are: Sarigerme and Ortaca.
GÖCEK has long been a desirable destination
for both Turkish and foreign yachtsmen, as well as a favorite
stopover for jet-setters and celebrities alike.
