| Having worked in the real estate business
for many years we have put together some common sense
rules to help you get the most out of this site, if you
have rules you would like to see included send to info@bargainhomesabroad.com
and we will do our best to include them.
Selling:
Properties submitted must include photo’s minimum
4 max 6, if your home is under construction, we suggest
scanning in pictures from the developer, these are normally
high quality and greatly increase your chances of enquiries,
don’t worry if you can’t resize them, we can
do this for you.
Before marketing your home, make sure you have all
the paperwork to hand e.g. title deeds, evidence of bills
paid e.g. local taxes, community fees, details of the
mortgage on home if applicable, you will not be able
to sell without these so best look for them now.
Ensure you are able to receive emails daily, new enquirers
expect an answer within 24 hours or else they will lose
interest and look elsewhere.
Prepare a list of the properties key features so that
you can discuss with interested parties and not miss anything
out, also you may have more great photos save them as
jpegs in a folder so as to quickly mail to interested
parties.
If your house/apt has not been lived in for some time
consider repainting it all in white, most house hunters
prefer a blank canvass and might not appreciate your Arabic
murals.
If your house has been lived in by renters definitely
do the above and consider removing the furniture if in
poor condition as this will detract from the sale. In
most countries there are numerous second hand furniture
stores that would offer you a price or possibly place
into storage whilst house is on the market.
Complete fully the listing form for your home before
sending to us for listing, if you are unsure of anything
use the call back button and we will call you back to
discuss.
How will a prospective purchaser get access to your home
to view it? Appoint someone reliable to permit access,
someone who is easily contactable doesn’t fluster
easily and probably is being paid to do it, your elderly
retired neighbour whilst happily holding a key for an
emergency will not take kindly to assuming they have nothing
better to do than show your home and may well open
up under sufferance, not conducive to making a sale.
Lastly we only forward a prospective purchaser to you,
we do not give out your contact details, satisfy yourself
that you are dealing with a genuine enquiry as we cannot
be held responsible for misuse of data or fraudulent activity.
