HOLIDAYS IN SAN FRANCISCO CALIFORNIA - VACATION IN SAN FRANCISCO USA

OVERVIEW - SPECIAL COMMENT:

San Francisco offers a truly ‘Golden’ holiday. The image of the psychedelic 60’s, flowers in your hair, tie-dyed tee shirts and earth friendly souls has now seen San Francisco emerge as the notably progressive ‘The Golden City’, or ‘The City by the Bay’. It is bordered on three sides by the Pacific Ocean and the famous San Francisco Bay, with both the Golden Gate Bridge (connecting SF to Marin County) and the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge making the city very accessible. Alcatraz, the famous S.F. cable cars, Transamerica Pyramid, Fisherman’s Wharf, The Crooked Street, The Presidio, are only some of the landmarks that make San Francisco famous. S.F. is a haven for filmmakers and actors such as Clint Eastwood, Francis Ford Coppola.
