the Metro also takes you into the heart of the city from the
airport or direct to the ferry ports at Piraeus.

Athens Attractions
The Parthenon the greatest surviving monument of Doric
Architecture.
The Agora ruins east of Monastiraki where Socrates allegedly
committed suicide.
The Plaka district, famed for its shopping and bars and
wonderful café style nightlife.
Lycabettus Hill Festival, Fantastic open festivals from
May to September, shows are Jazz, pop, Rock and dance.
