Bargain holidays in Canada are still attainable as Canada
offers so much diversity from its French and British influences
as well as its larger cousin USA. To the West Vancouver offers
all year round holidays with its milder Pacific coast and
access to Alaska through British Columbia and for Skiing holidays
at the world famous resort of Whistler, beautiful lodges and
pristine powder snow.
The Canadian Rockies have to be experienced for their magnificence,
Jasper, Banff, Calgary and the Columbian ice fields are
simply superb, add to that rowing, Kayaking or even swimming
in Lake Louise (always cold) one holiday will never do,
you will want to return again and again.
The east of Canada offers an amazing mix of French and British
culture and architecture. Montreal and Quebec are a delight,
the old town of Montreal is great to walk around with its
abundance of Restaurants and bars, and there are also many
museums here as well as the home of the F1 Grand prix circuit
a magnificent setting. Quebec is simply superb, the centre
feels more French than France and is completely at odds
with the rest of Canada and looks like a 17th century French
city or at least how you imagined it would look like, numerous
curiosity shops, restaurants and bars as well as exhibitions,
museums, Quebec should never be done in a hurry.

Vacation in Canada
To visit the east of Canada and not visit Niagara falls
would be a sin, the falls one of natures wonders are magnificent
and a must see and the “Maid Of The Mist” cruise
passes right beneath the falls but be prepared to get wet.
Niagara itself has unfortunately been turned into a plastic
playground with amusements, game rooms and neon, which somehow
feel out of place in one of Mother Nature’s treasures. |
